Project Overview
Bison Construction delivered a $90,000, 10-day remodel for Jim 'N Nick's BBQ in Tuscaloosa, Alabama using the original Version 1 Legacy architecture plans. This project stands as one of more than 25 Jim 'N Nick’s locations our team has successfully constructed. We oversaw the bulk of the work beyond MEPs, including framing, blocking, a timber-framed patio with wire railing, custom soffits, insulation, sheathing, drywall, FRP, acoustical ceilings, wall and floor tile, finish carpentry and millwork, furniture fabrication and installation, menu board setup, dumpster corral construction with block and welded gate, interior and exterior doors with hardware, bathroom partitions and fixtures meeting full ADA standards, artwork and decor packages, exterior corbels, barn door, and complete smoker installation including startup and calibration.
Our team collaborated closely with suppliers, designers, architects, IT specialists, and the JNN managing team to meet every milestone and deadline. Even with persistent challenging weather—including an unprecedented snowfall in Tuscaloosa, Alabama—we maintained steady progress and successfully delivered an outstanding turnkey result right on schedule.
